ICA Medina, has been training with the machado clan for over 16 years and is well known for his ability to teach and pay attention to detail on every technique, from beginners to advance kids,teens and adults.
ICA Medina is a multiple tournament winner, including the Panamerican Championship and state championship.

Charleston, South Carolina, May 21, 2011 — Arts For Fitness, brings Master Rigan Machado 8th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to give a grappling seminar. This event will will be held at Arts For Fitness in West Ashley, 3545 Mary Ader Ave from 10:00am-2:30pm. This seminar will train participants in gi and no gi grappling.
• He remains unbeaten in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in more than 13 years of competition.
• From the age of 14 through 21, he won the World Championships every year and every belt division.
• He amassed a record of 365 wins and no losses in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competition.
• He also created a record by having 19 matches in one day and finishing all of them by submission.
Master Rigan Machado is a living legend in the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is considered by many to be the greatest grappler to ever walk the face of the planet.
Master Rigan holds the prestigious Red and Black Belt and is nephew of the Legendary Grandmaster Carlos Gracie. Master Rigan Machado achieved his legendary stature at the world championship level by amassing a record like never been seen again.

Arts For Fitness office manager, Chi Babik, announced the arrival of the new BJJ Competition Team t-shirts.

“The shirts look fantastic,” said Chi. They will be worn by the competition team at their matches and are also available for purchase.

Call Chi at 556-4391 to reserve your shirt or email artsforfitness@comcast.net.

The cost is $20 each plus tax. Shirts are available in sizes M, L, and XL. Colors available are black, white, and red.

The front has the AFF Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Team logo and the Arts For Fitness web address.

The back of the shirt contains the new Rigan Machado/Arts For Fitness logo. The logo was enthusiastically approved by Rigan himself, according to Fred Weil, Director of Arts For Fitness.
